March, 2009 InterTech has won the bid to work on developing an E-Commerce application for Al’Ard agricultural products. Al’Ard brand is part of Anabtawi group that specializes in producing premium olive oil, natural soap and Palestinian thyme. The solution will enable Al’Ard to market and sell their products globally through a fully functional E-commerce system. In addition to shopping cart functionality, the system will allow for inventory management and tracking as well as interfacing with shipping and delivery providers. Once this project is complete, it will enable Al’Ard to be one of the first companies in Palestine to pioneer E-commerce. This project will be developed using .net and MSSQL technologies.

Feb., 2009 InterTech has won the bid to work on developing a web portal for the Democracy and Workers’ Resource Center (DWRC). The portal will serve as a source of information on workers’ rights and employment related issues. It will also provide workers with the ability to send their request for consultation and interact with the DWRC. In addition to the DWRC main site, two other sites will be developed that cater for the special needs of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) as well as the Federation for Independent Unions in Palestine (FIUP).
